Biography

Cecilia Brennan joined The Perry Law Firm in October 2011. Ms. Brennan oversees the Corporate Advise and Counsel Division of the Firm, assisting clients with a wide-range of corporate matters including board governance, contract drafting and analysis, FHA/HUD condominium certification, governing document drafting and analysis, policy enforcement, federal and state law compliance, administrative hearings and procedure, and litigation matters. Ms. Brennan also assists with assessment collection matters. As a bilingual attorney, Ms. Brennan also handles matters involving Spanish-speaking individuals.

Ms. Brennan received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Los Angeles (“UCLA”), and her J.D. from UCLA School of Law.  Ms. Brennan has an extensive background in public interest law, community economic development, and nonprofit management. Prior to pursuing her J.D., Ms. Brennan co-founded two Los Angeles-based nonprofit organizations focused on educational equity and community development. After admission to the state Bar, Ms. Brennan represented individual and public sector clients in consumer issues, municipal law, education law, and litigation matters.

Ms. Brennan currently sits on the Board of a San Diego-based nonprofit organization dedicated to finding policy-based solutions to homelessness. Ms. Brennan has also been active within the Southern California legal community, as a current member of local county bar associations and former member of La Raza Lawyers Association, Latinas in the Law, and the Lawyers Club.
